The Case for a Slower Morning Routine

Five minutes with your products, done properly, outperforms fifteen minutes done in a rush.

Most of what a morning routine needs to do, it can do in three steps: cleanse, treat, protect. The fourth and fifth steps people add rarely change the outcome, they just add friction that makes the whole routine easier to skip on a bad morning. If mornings are tight, protect the order, not the step count. Cleanser first, SPF last, and let everything in between be optional on the days that call for it.
